Very tasty mussels, cozy atmosphere

Because we wanted to enjoy our Amrum vacation in a culinary way and some things were already very positive (e.g. the Seekiste ***** - top service, top dishes) as well as disappointing (e.g. the Ristorante Venezia * - even I can do that Having tried some Aldi ingredients better), it was now the turn of Preesters Hüs, which is actually very promising according to the menu. Unfortunately, we should have saved ourselves this visit, because both the carelessly prepared and sometimes not even cooked dishes as well as the atmosphere itself suggested that we were not welcome as a guest. Such a joyless, taciturn waitress who acts contrary to the guest thought has really only seldom met me. Maybe we had a bad day, but if there is not even an excuse about the undercooked meat and an additional side dish takes longer than you were willing to stay, then it borders on intent. In short ... you don't feel welcome all the time.

Modern, rustic restaurant. The food was decent. The service nice. And here it was noticeable how difficult it is for small restaurants to be able to guarantee the hygiene or 1.50 m distance. The few outside seats were quickly occupied.

From the beginning a very unfriendly reception from the boss. Unfortunately not a single vegetarian dish on the menu and, on request, no willingness or flexibility to at least prepare fried potatoes with vegetables or a salad. We have gone again and will not come back either !!

We had an excellent dinner on Wed, 23.09.2020. Food and drinks (including organic beer) delicious. The service professional and very friendly. The hammer: due to heavy rain, no taxi was available anywhere in Amrum. But the staff drove us to our hotel in their own private car while the hotel was in operation !! Thank you again

Good, working service. Great food . From the starter to the dessert, everything is delicious and fresh. We recommend the tasty Frisian Förtchen as dessert. Since everything is freshly prepared, you shouldn't rate waiting times negatively. Gladly again and a clear recommendation!

Nice restaurant, with not very nice service! There are also fish sandwiches to take away, and to eat there, as it was raining and we couldn't sit outside, we decided to eat inside. That was probably not right, our hands were sprayed on, which is okay, then we were assigned a table and asked if we had a Kulli with us! I had one, they didn't ask for a drink, my husband ordered one with one Call through the bar. But the fish roll was ok! But they won't go there anymore, even in Corona times you should be a little friendlier, after all, we all benefit from it.

The quality of the food was good. However, the service was not entirely satisfactory. Waited a long time for the food. My mother received her food, then it was taken away because it was the wrong table. I wanted a different side dish. At first it was said one would ask the cook. Then it was served to me. And taken away again directly by the boss ... Certainly, many restaurateurs are struggling with the circumstances caused by Corona. But that was a little annoying. So unfortunately only 3 stars.

Well The plaice was very limp and the potatoes were very tasteless. Service was not overly friendly as it is often described. Quite the opposite. Fish roll was okay but nothing special. Yes, you sit nicely.

The food is good ... but that was all I can say positively! Children are obviously not welcome ... the children's menu is only available on request ... probably in the hope that large portions will be ordered. We were charged a whopping 11.20 euros for two double espresso. When we asked if it was a mistake, since according to the menu, double espresso with cream and amaretto would cost so much, the hostess gave the unfriendly answer: "That's just the way it is ...". You saw me for the last time! There are better restaurants on Amrum with much friendlier hosts !!!!

We have been coming to Preesters Hüs for years. Super good meat and fish dishes again this year. Always very high quality. Price and performance ok. Staff and boss very friendly. We would love to come back.

Super delicious food, meat and ingredients come from the region. Grandma's Frisian charm. But it is better to reserve in the high season. Good brandies and a good strong espresso.
